We have been stumbling upon beautiful work created by some of our senior citizens. Be it beautifully embroidered cushion covers and coasters or just lip smacking chutney. The creations are completely contrary to the image that often comes to mind of a ‘senior citizen’ – hunched and dependent! They are neatly executed with no hint of the number of wrinkles on the maker’s hands!

We at Good Karma Foundation feel that these creations deserve a space in the commercial markets. Yes, we are greedy and would hate to lose out on such goodies. Neither should you lose. While we work on getting these products to market, we also would like to stamp them with a mark implying “lovingly created by a senior citizen”, similar to the ISI mark (an instant recognition of safety and quality of a product).
